Silent Thunder 2000 - Northern California Race Results

The second annual Northern California Electric Drag Races were held at the Sacramento Raceway (Sacramento, CA) on October 21, 2000.  The event featured 10 vehicles and some super runs, despite the high winds.  A total of 5 new NEDRA world records were set.

The highlight of the event was a spectacular race between a methanol dragster and Dennis Berube's Current Eliminator IV.  Dennis not only won, but also set a new world record with a time of 8.801 seconds.  Wow, that's quick!

The "Most Spectacular Launch" award goes to Electric Louis Finkle and his electric go cart, driven by Jared "Dr. Go Fast".
